Calling all WPPCLINYC parents and supporters!

FUEL THE MISSION – Boodle Box Packing Day is here! Please join us for the annual WPPCLINYC Boodle Box Packing Day on Saturday, February 7, 2026.

As West Point enters the “Gray Period,” a Boodle Box from home is just the thing to lift the spirits of our Long Island–NYC cadets during the cold winter weeks ahead.

📦 What We’re Packing

• 66 active cadet Boodle Boxes

• Plus a few additional boxes requested by legacy parents for former cadets now serving as officers around the world

If you plan to attend, please bring enough “boodle” items to contribute to each box. Popular items include:

• Chips, cookies, candy, trail mix

• Beef jerky, gummies

• Wrapped cakes, Rice Krispie treats

• Hot chocolate packets, drinks

• Anything individually wrapped (Costco items work great!)

Items will be shared with roommates and company mates while watching the Super Bowl and throughout the winter season.

Each Boodle Box will be individually addressed, so you are welcome to include something personal for your cadet as well.

🏠 Can’t Attend?

• Local drop-off: Items may be dropped off in advance at my home in Saint James
  (Please email the club email for the address.)

• Monetary donations: Contributions earmarked for Boodle Box items can be made via Zelle to
  treasurer.wppcli.nyc@gmail.com
  (Please write “Boodle Box” in the memo.)

🍕 After Packing

Following the packing effort, we will enjoy pizza and fellowship, along with a General Membership Meeting.
Agenda items include:

• Upcoming events

• Committee opportunities

• Preparing to welcome the Class of 2030

🚗 Delivery Volunteers Needed

Boodle Boxes will be delivered Sunday morning, February 8, 2026 (Super Bowl Sunday).
Volunteers to drive are requested and greatly appreciated.
